A law firm seeks a Land and Lot Attorney in Fayetteville, GA. This role involves managing legal matters related to land, real estate, and property development. The attorney will provide expert legal counsel on land acquisition, zoning, land use, title issues, easements, and environmental regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on land use, zoning laws, property rights, and environmental regulations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, deeds, easements, leases, and other legal documents related to land and property transactions.
  • Advise clients on legal risks and compliance issues associated with land acquisition, development, and use.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and litigation involving land disputes or regulatory challenges.
  • Collaborate with surveyors, planners, government officials, and other professionals to ensure legal requirements are met throughout project lifecycles.
  • Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations to provide up-to-date legal guidance.
  • Prepare and present legal opinions and reports to clients and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing real estate, land use, or property law.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local land use and zoning laws.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate complex legal documents.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • SC Required, Dual License Preferred.
