Project Finance / Tax Equity Associate or Senior Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a project finance or tax equity associate/senior associate for its Tax Credits and Projects practice in Denver, CO. Candidates should have significant transactional experience in debt project finance or tax equity financings, particularly in renewable or clean energy infrastructure.

Duties

• Engage in debt project finance, including credit agreements and collateral documents.
• Participate in tax equity financings and tax credit sales.
• Conduct due diligence on offtake, EPC, supply, and O&M contracts.
• Collaborate across offices with direct partner mentorship.
• Develop early client contact and business development skills.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with ITC/PTC structures in renewable energy.
• Exposure to tax credit transferability and infrastructure is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in good standing.

Skills

• Strong transactional and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage complex multi-tranche financings.
