Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join their team in Lexington, Kentucky. The successful candidate will collaborate with trial attorneys, providing essential support throughout the litigation process. Duties

• Provide legal support to clients and assist trial attorneys.
• Maintain and nurture client relationships.
• Prepare demands and manage cases pre-suit.
• Draft legal reports and documents.
• Interact with expert witnesses, including drafting reports and affidavits.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
• Collaborate closely with litigation paralegals and case managers.

Requirements

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the KY State Bar Association.
• 1+ years of litigation experience, with a preference for personal injury.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated interest in personal injury law.
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active membership with the KY State Bar Association.
