Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney in Atlanta, GA. The role involves handling creditor's rights, real estate, and title curative litigated matters. The attorney will leverage their legal expertise to facilitate the litigation process on behalf of clients.

Duties

  • Attend mediations, trials, and hearings.
  • Travel as needed for case requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Write articles and deliver presentations to clients and associations.
  • Engage in marketing initiatives.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects and cases.
  • Assist with other duties and special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with a Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school.
  • Minimum of two to four years of litigation/courtroom experience; creditor's rights/foreclosure experience preferred.
  • Member in good standing of the state Bar of Georgia.
  • Proficient in legal research and writing.
  • Skilled in taking and defending depositions.
  • Experienced in drafting pleadings, briefs, affidavits, and other legal documents.
  • Proficient with Westlaw.
  • Knowledgeable in rules of evidence and civil procedure in state and federal court.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school

Certifications

  • Member of the state Bar of Georgia
