Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join their team in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The successful candidate will collaborate with trial attorneys, providing essential support throughout the litigation process. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop litigation skills and become a well-rounded litigator.

Duties

  • Provide legal support to clients and assist trial attorneys.
  • Maintain and nurture client relationships.
  • Prepare demands and manage cases pre-suit.
  • Draft legal reports and documents.
  • Interact with expert witnesses, including drafting reports and affidavits.
  • Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
  • Collaborate closely with litigation paralegals and case managers.

Requirements

  • Law degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing with the KY State Bar Association.
  • 1+ years of litigation experience, with a preference for personal injury.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in personal injury law.
  • Self-starter with long-term career goals.
  • Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership with the Kentucky State Bar Association.
