Duties

  • Represent employers in employment litigation, including discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage and hour claims.
  • Draft pleadings, manage discovery, and argue motions in state and federal courts.
  • Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and trial settings.
  • Provide advice on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Draft and review employment agreements, severance agreements, and policies.
  • Contribute to case strategy and client communication.
  • Prepare and respond to agency charges and investigations.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff to deliver client-centered service.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing with the Washington State Bar.
  • 4-5 years of employment litigation and transactional experience.
  • Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Excellent judgment and communication abilities.
