Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level Associate for their Financial Regulatory and Compliance Practice in Washington, D.C. The role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients across various industries, both domestically and internationally.

Duties

  • Advise clients on financial services regulatory and compliance matters.
  • Assist with licensing and chartering processes.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on financial regulations.
  • Draft and review compliance-related documents.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive client service.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in financial services regulatory and compliance.
  • Knowledge of key financial services laws and regulations.
  • Enforcement experience is a plus.
  • Strong academic background and legal research skills.
  • Admitted to or eligible for admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Fluency in Spanish preferred but not required.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
