Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Construction Litigation Associate to join its team remotely, with a focus on Southern California. The candidate must be licensed and in good standing with the California bar. This role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in the US.

Duties

• Prepare for trials and manage courtroom responsibilities.
• Handle file responsibilities and engage in motion practice.
• Conduct depositions and develop strong advocacy strategies.
• Perform legal research and draft legal documents.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements effectively.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of litigation experience.
• Familiarity with construction litigation preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new areas of law.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.
