Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Structured Finance Associate in Palo Alto, CA. The role involves working within the finance group, focusing on transactions involving commercial-mortgage backed securities (CMBS). This position is open to candidates across all U.S. offices.

Duties

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
• Draft well-reasoned legal documents, including briefs and contracts.
• Assist in managing complex cases from inception to resolution.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a law firm.
• Experience in commercial real estate finance, CMBS, or structured finance preferred.
• AmLaw 100 law firm experience preferred but not required.

Education

• JD degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in the state of office location.
