Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Corporate Associate to join the Capital Markets practice group in Dallas, TX. Exceptional candidates may be considered for remote work in other markets.

Duties

  • Represent issuers, investment banks, and investors in debt, equity, and structured transactions.
  • Assist investment banks with regulatory compliance and advisory engagements.
  • Advise on registration requirements and draft registration statements and offering documents.
  • Manage transactions and lead due diligence teams.

Requirements

  • Three to five years of experience in securities law and capital markets transactions.
  • Expertise in public securities offerings, including IPOs and PIPEs.
  • Experience with public company reporting obligations and corporate governance.
  • Excellent writing skills and superior academic credentials.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments with minimal supervision.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the state of Texas or eligibility for admission.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in managing complex transactions.
