Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level corporate associate with M&A and private equity transactional experience for its Dallas, TX office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in representing financial sponsors, private equity firms, and strategic buyers and sellers.

Duties

• Represent financial sponsors, private equity firms, and strategic buyers and sellers in various transactions.
• Draft and negotiate acquisition, disposition, and investment agreements.
• Prepare related closing documents and manage transactions through closing.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of relevant experience.
• Admitted to the Texas State Bar.
• Securities law experience is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.

Skills

• Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
• Ability to manage complex transactions.
