A law firm seeks an experienced Tax Associate Attorney for its Tax and Corporate practice group in Philadelphia, PA. The candidate will work from the Philadelphia office with occasional travel to other locations. The role requires expertise in tax research, planning, and drafting within a law firm environment.

Duties

• Handle corporate tax matters, including formation, acquisition, disposition, merger, and reorganization of business entities.
• Research and analyze complex tax issues for both individuals and corporations.
• Design and plan tax treatment and incentive compensation for key employees.
• Manage tax controversy cases.

Requirements

• Minimum 5-8 years of direct experience in a mid-size or large law firm environment.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Organizational and analytical skills.

Education

• LLM preferred or pending.

Certifications

• PA bar required; NJ preferred.

Skills

• Experience in corporate tax matters.
• Proficiency in tax research and analysis.
• Ability to design incentive compensation plans.
