Duties

• Prepare pleadings, motions, depositions, and briefs.
• Appear in various courts throughout the tri-state area.
• Direct cases through the litigation cycle and develop strategies.
• Manage a large volume of cases and attend court as necessary.
• Organize and track case status and manage attorney court appearances.
• Represent clients in divorce, custody, and child support matters.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in matrimonial law.
• Knowledge of Supreme Court and Family Court procedures.
• Experience in a family/divorce clinic or internship/clerkship with judges.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• NY Bar admittance required.
