Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Capital Markets Associate with 2-3 years of experience in equity and/or debt capital markets to join their legal team in New York, NY. The team focuses on capital raising solutions for innovators in the technology sector, advising tech and life sciences companies, investment banks, venture capital funds, and institutional investors.

Duties

• Advise clients on public equity and debt capital markets transactions.
• Guide companies from IPO through operating as a public company.
• Collaborate with investment banks and venture capital funds.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in equity and/or debt capital markets.
• Major/peer law firm experience preferred.
• Strong commitment to excellent client service.
• Significant experience in public securities offerings.
• Bar membership in the state of practice.

Education

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.

Substantial billable hours is the primary way to get the big bucks and partnership consideration at this large New York firm.
