Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate attorney in Tampa, FL, to join its expanding Health Care and Life Sciences practice. This role involves advising healthcare stakeholders on corporate, transactional, regulatory, and operational matters, with opportunities to work on national projects while supporting the firm's Florida practice.

Duties

  • Conduct legal research and prepare guidance on federal and state healthcare laws.
  • Assist with regulatory analyses related to healthcare transactions and operations.
  • Support healthcare transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
  • Draft and review healthcare agreements and contracts.
  • Advise on clinical research and academic medicine matters.
  • Support counseling on healthcare data use and commercialization.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and admission or eligibility for admission to the Florida Bar.
  • 2-5 years of experience or strong interest in healthcare law, health policy, or life sciences.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong business acumen and client-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based practice.

Education

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
