Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team in Manchester, NH. The role involves engaging in commercial and insurance defense litigation, requiring 1 to 3 years of experience. The attorney will participate in all phases of trial work, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and evidentiary hearings.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare discovery and motions.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Argue motions before federal and state courts.
• Conduct interviews and gather material.
• Coordinate, collaborate, and support other attorneys.
• Organize filing of litigation documents and processes.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws related to matters.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of litigation experience.
• Currently licensed to practice in New Hampshire.
• Experience appearing in court preferred.
• Taking and defending depositions preferred.
• Strong analytical and writing skills (writing sample required).

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New Hampshire.
