Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Legacy Law Associate Attorney to join their team in Asheville, NC. This role offers an opportunity to practice law with technical expertise and a human touch, guiding clients through decisions that shape their families and businesses.

Duties

  • Meet with clients to understand their family dynamics, goals, and concerns.
  • Design and implement customized estate and legacy plans.
  • Draft wills, trusts, and related planning documents.
  • Advise on asset protection and eligibility planning strategies.
  • Guide clients through probate and trust administration.
  • Collaborate with financial advisors, CPAs, and other professionals.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients as a trusted advisor.

Requirements

  • Licensed attorney in North Carolina or South Carolina, or ability to become licensed quickly.
  • Experience in estate planning, elder law, or related field preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable guiding sensitive conversations.
  • Detail-oriented with sound legal judgment.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
