The role requires the ability to lead as both 1st chair and 2nd chair in construction cases.

Duties

• Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation matters.
• Lead as a first chair litigation attorney and support as a second chair.
• Manage projects and cases from initiation to completion.
• Conduct and defend depositions, and handle discovery processes.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Perform legal research and analysis.
• Attend hearings, mediations, trials, and arbitrations.

Requirements

• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Prior litigation and trial experience as a 1st chair attorney.
• Experience in analyzing, reviewing, editing, and drafting legal documents.
• Superior logical reasoning, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to meet high client expectations.

Education

• JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice in Texas.
