Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Insurance Coverage and Litigation Associate for its New York, NY office. The role involves providing comprehensive insurance coverage services, including drafting coverage opinions, analyzing claim documents, and litigating declaratory judgment and bad faith actions across various jurisdictions. Duties

• Draft coverage opinions and review claim documents.
• Analyze and assess policy language.
• Litigate declaratory judgment and bad faith actions.
• Update and provide a wide range of insurance coverage services.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of experience in coverage matters and litigation.
• Experience with private equity, fiduciary, errors and omissions, D&O, and other professional liability policies.
• Ability to manage litigation from inception to trial.
• Experience with state and federal court proceedings.
• Current NY Bar admission in good standing.

Education

• JD degree with excellent academic credentials.

Certifications

• Current NY Bar admission.

Skills

• Strong legal research, analysis, and writing skills.
• Proficiency in managing discovery and depositions.
