Duties

• Provide legal counsel and representation in labor and employment matters.

• Handle litigation and administrative proceedings related to employment law.

• Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

• Draft and review employment agreements, policies, and related documentation.

• Assist clients in risk management and employment best practices.

• Represent both private and public sector clients, with preference for experience in the latter.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of labor and employment law experience.

• Strong litigation, advisory, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• A small book of business is preferred but not required.

• Experience with public sector employers is preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of Florida (Required)
