Corporate Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A distinguished law firm is seeking an experienced Corporate Associate Attorney with 4-8 years of legal practice experience to join its office in Wilmington, DE, or Philadelphia, PA. Duties:

• Handle matters related to Delaware LLCs, LPs, and other alternative entities.
• Provide legal expertise in corporate and alternative entity practice.

• Ensure legal compliance and advise clients on Delaware corporate laws.

Requirements:

• 4-8 years of experience at a law firm in corporate and/or alternative entity practice.
• Experience working with Delaware LLCs, LPs, and other alternative entities.
• Excellent legal research, drafting, and client communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Strong academic record required.

Certifications:

• Active Delaware Bar admission is mandatory.

This firm has given a lot of thought to the interplay between the New York and the New Jersey legal markets. Although one of the oldest and largest in New Jersey, this firm wants to capture the Manhattan type work at Manhattan type billing rates. Although they are not quite there yet, this firm has developed a structure that enables it to base the bulk of its personnel and resources in New Jersey, and have a small New York space from which to handle the 'big city' work.
