A law firm seeks an associate to join the Real Estate Finance team in Chicago, IL. Duties

  • Represent lenders and investors in loan transactions, including permanent, construction, and mezzanine loans.
  • Close acquisitions and dispositions and negotiate commercial leases for various property types.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of real estate finance experience.
  • Experience with commercial, healthcare, auto, office, multifamily, retail, and industrial properties.
  • J.D. degree with strong academic credentials.
  • Admitted in, or taking steps to become admitted in, Illinois or New York.

Education

  • J.D. degree required.

Certifications

  • Admission to the bar in Illinois or New York.
