Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Corporate Associate in Milwaukee, WI. The successful candidate will provide legal counsel on various corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, while fostering strong client relationships and contributing to business development.

Duties

• Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic business transactions.
• Conduct and manage legal due diligence for corporate transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and transaction documents.
• Prepare and coordinate closing documents and oversee transaction processes.
• Counsel clients on corporate governance and business operations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements

• Minimum two years of experience in commercial or transactional work.
• Excellent writing and drafting skills.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Superior organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work full-time with flexible hours.

Education

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted or eligible for admission to practice in the State of Wisconsin.
