A reputable law firm located in Miami Beach, FL, is seeking a dedicated Client Engagement Attorney through a specialized legal recruiting firm. This role centers on maintaining effective and empathetic communication between the legal team and clients navigating complex humanitarian immigration matters. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted legal point of contact for clients, delivering clarity on their cases and ensuring a seamless, compassionate experience throughout the legal process.

Duties:

  • Serve as the primary legal liaison for client communication, offering clear and informed updates on case progression.

  • Address internal team queries tied to legal issues raised through client interactions.

  • Collaborate closely with internal legal professionals to develop case strategies and maintain consistency in messaging.

  • Monitor and interpret updates in immigration policy, ensuring relevant stakeholders and clients remain informed.

  • Maintain and update legal reference materials such as FAQs to reflect current practices and regulatory changes.

  • Conduct targeted legal research on complex issues, interpreting statutes, rulings, and precedents to support case strategy.

  • Offer sound legal solutions tailored to individual case circumstances.

  • Take on additional responsibilities that support the overarching mission of the legal practice.

Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in good standing from any U.S. jurisdiction.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience handling immigration cases, with a strong grasp of family-based and humanitarian relief pathways.

  • Full professional fluency in Spanish is essential.

  • Capable of adapting to changing workloads and managing priorities effectively.

  • Proven ability to communicate nuanced legal concepts clearly in both English and Spanish.

  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new legal technologies and platforms.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Laws (LLM) from a U.S.-accredited institution.

Certifications:

  • Bar membership in any U.S. state, maintained in active and good standing.

Skills:

  • High emotional intelligence, with a client-centered approach to legal guidance.

  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Strong research capabilities and analytical thinking.

  • Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Technologically adept, with quick adaptation to case management tools and communication platforms.

Job Location:

  • Miami Beach, FL

  • In-office position, Monday through Friday

  • Flexible morning start times between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
