Corporate Latin America Associate (Mid-Level)

Job Overview
A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Corporate Latin America practice in New York, NY. This role involves handling sophisticated Latin American and U.S. transactions, along with a variety of general corporate matters.

Duties

• Represent emerging companies, venture capital, and private equity investors.
• Engage in venture capital financings, growth equity, and private equity investments.
• Participate in public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate matters.
• Collaborate closely with clients and assume significant responsibility in transactions.

Requirements

• JD or LLM degree.
• Corporate transactional experience with prior large law firm experience preferred.
• Experience with M&A, private equity, and venture capital transactions.
• Experience advising on Latin American transactions strongly preferred.
• Admission to the New York and/or California Bar required.
• Spanish working proficiency required.

Education

• JD or LLM degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York and/or California Bar.

Skills

• Strong transactional and corporate law skills.
• Proficiency in Spanish.
