Duties

• Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda.
• Communicate with clients, offering strategic guidance and updates.
• Take and defend depositions; participate in mediations and negotiations.
• Engage in investigations, court appearances, and trials.
• Collaborate with attorneys on complex employment matters.

Requirements

• 2+ years of employment litigation experience.
• Admission to practice in New York required.
• Exceptional writing, research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.

Certifications

• Admission to practice in New York.

Skills

• Experience in employment discrimination, harassment, and wage & hour litigation.
• Knowledge of federal and state wage & hour matters, including class actions.
• Familiarity with investigations before labor and human rights agencies.
