Job Overview
A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Real Estate practice in Pittsburgh. This role involves working on complex commercial real estate and finance transactions within a collaborative environment.

Duties

  • Coordinate and execute complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leases, and joint ventures.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, and related documents.
  • Oversee due diligence, deal structuring, and closing coordination.
  • Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice to clients.
  • Conduct title, survey, zoning, and lease reviews.
  • Identify legal and financial risks and prepare mitigation strategies.
  • Serve as a key contact for clients and manage timelines and junior team members.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in commercial real estate or real estate finance.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating transaction documents.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of title, survey, zoning, and property rights.
  • Ability to identify and solve complex legal issues.
  • High-quality drafting skills.

Education

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed in Pennsylvania or eligible for licensure.
