Job Overview

A law firm seeks a corporate attorney to join its New York, NY office. This position is ideal for an attorney who enjoys advising businesses on a day-to-day basis rather than focusing solely on large M&A transactions.

Duties

• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts.
• Advise on corporate governance matters.
• Handle general corporate transactions.
• Assist with entity formation and structuring.
• Support M&A deals.
• Serve as outside general counsel to owner-managed and growth-oriented businesses.

Requirements

• Admission to the New York Bar.
• Approximately five or more years of corporate experience.
• Strong drafting skills and sound judgment.
• Ability to work directly with clients.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York Bar.
