Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Corporate Associate or Corporate Counsel with strong M&A experience to join its New York, NY office. This role involves working on sophisticated, high-value transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and venture capital matters, within a nationally recognized M&A practice.

Duties

• Lead major components of complex M&A and corporate transactions.
• Manage certain deals independently.
• Draft and negotiate key transaction agreements.
• Direct and review due diligence processes.
• Supervise and mentor junior associates.

Requirements

• 5+ years of meaningful M&A and general corporate transactional experience.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and client-management abilities.
• Top law firm experience preferred.
• Admission to the New York Bar is required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
