Job Overview:

The role involves representing individuals who have experienced traumatic injuries and losses due to accidents, negligence, or defective products. Duties:

  • Represent clients in personal injury matters, including auto accidents, brain injuries, product liability, nursing home abuse, and wrongful death cases

  • Handle a full caseload from intake through settlement or trial

  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements

  • Participate in mediations, depositions, and courtroom proceedings

  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal legal teams

  • Collaborate with a team of legal professionals, including paralegals, legal assistants, and administrative staff

  • Uphold high standards of client service and contribute to a client-focused firm culture

Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in Tennessee

  • Experience or strong interest in plaintiff-side personal injury litigation

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a high-volume environment

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills

  • Client-focused mindset with a compassionate approach to legal representation

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Tennessee State Bar

Skills:

  • Litigation strategy and case management

  • Legal writing and oral advocacy

  • Interpersonal and cross-functional team collaboration

  • Attention to detail and a proactive work ethic

  • Fluency in legal software and case management tools is a plus
