Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Real Estate Associate Attorney in Miami, Florida. The position involves supporting and leading sophisticated commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, joint ventures, leasing, and development transactions.

Duties

  • Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents such as purchase and sale agreements and loan documents.
  • Support and manage acquisitions and dispositions of commercial real estate assets.
  • Assist with real estate finance transactions, including drafting loan documents.
  • Support commercial leasing matters, representing landlords and tenants.
  • Conduct due diligence, including review of title, survey, and zoning documents.
  • Prepare closing checklists and coordinate closings with clients and other parties.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Admission in good standing in the jurisdiction where you will sit.
  • 2-5 years of relevant real estate transactional experience.
  • Strong legal writing, drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Experience with title and survey review, zoning review, and other diligence components.
  • Experience coordinating closings and managing transaction documentation.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.)

Certifications

  • Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction
