Job Overview:
A well-established regional law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to develop a diverse litigation practice while engaging in meaningful client work from the outset. Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of general litigation experience, a strong academic background, and a desire to grow within a collaborative legal environment.

Location:

  • Lancaster, PA

Duties:

  • Handle a variety of general litigation matters across multiple practice areas

  • Engage in all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation

  • Maintain regular communication with clients and provide strategic legal counsel

  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and execution

  • Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda, motions, and briefs

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in general litigation, preferably within a mid-size or large law firm

  • Strong work ethic and demonstrated commitment to professional excellence

  • Ability to handle cases independently and manage deadlines effectively

  • Eagerness to develop a diverse and robust litigation practice

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

  • Active bar admission in the relevant state jurisdiction

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical and legal research abilities

  • High attention to detail and organizational proficiency

  • Client-focused with a professional demeanor
