Corporate Associate (Mid-Level)

Job Overview
A law firm seeks a mid-level Corporate Associate to join its New York office. The ideal candidate will have experience in mergers and acquisitions or strategic support for start-ups and venture capital firms.

Duties

• Provide counsel to early-stage entrepreneurs.
• Represent companies and venture funds in financing rounds and M&A.
• Engage in investor-side financing in growth equity rounds.
• Maintain significant client contact, including interaction with CEOs and Boards of Directors.

Requirements

• JD from 2020 - 2022.
• Previous large law firm experience required.
• Admitted or eligible to waive into the State Bar of New York.
• Eagerness to work with emerging growth companies and funds.
• Experience in M&A, venture capital financings, and/or growth equity financing transactions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD)

Certifications

• State Bar of New York admission or eligibility
