Duties

• Handle third-party insurance coverage and bad faith matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft coverage opinions and reservation of rights letters.
• Represent insurers in coverage litigation and related bad faith proceedings.
• Analyze complex factual and legal issues and develop strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys while taking ownership of assigned matters.

Requirements

• Active Florida law license in good standing.
• At least 2 years of experience in third-party insurance coverage and bad faith matters.
• Experience drafting coverage opinions and reservation of rights letters.
• Strong litigation skills, including motion practice and discovery.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality work product.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and within a team.
• Federal court experience preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active Florida law license.
