Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate with 3-5 years of domestic relations experience to join its Denver, CO office. Duties

  • Draft legal documents including separation agreements, custody, and pre/postnuptial agreements.
  • Represent clients in hearings, trials, status conferences, and mediations.
  • Assist partners with legal research, case preparation, and expert witness management.
  • Manage day-to-day client interactions, providing regular contact and support.
  • Work with support staff, delegating tasks and assignments appropriately.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience with at least 1 year in family law.
  • Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial attitude.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
