A law firm is seeking a General Liability Litigation Attorney with the following job overview and requirements:

Job Overview:

The General Liability Litigation Attorney will represent clients in various general liability matters, including insurance defense cases. This role requires a strong understanding of Pennsylvania and New Jersey law, as well as significant experience in litigation procedures.

Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of general liability litigation matters from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and other proceedings as required.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on general liability issues.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience practicing law with a focus on general liability litigation.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in insurance defense.
  • Strong litigation skills, including courtroom experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Pennsylvania and New Jersey State Bar Associations.

Skills:

  • Legal research and writing.
  • Litigation strategy and case management.
  • Client communication and relationship management.
  • Negotiation and dispute resolution.
  • Proficiency in relevant legal software and tools.
