Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid to senior-level associate to join its Real Estate Capital Markets practice in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial real estate financing and investment matters, including representing lenders in mortgage loan origination and structured debt, as well as handling distressed loan workouts and real estate transactions.

Duties

• Represent clients in commercial real estate financing and investment matters.
• Originate mortgage loans and structured debt for lenders.
• Manage workouts of distressed commercial real estate loans.
• Handle purchases and sales of commercial property.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of real estate finance experience.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be licensed or ready to become licensed in the state of Georgia.
• Must reside in the Atlanta area at or prior to the time of hire.

Education

• Strong academic credentials required.

Certifications

• Georgia Bar admission or eligibility.
