Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney specializing in Personal Injury for their Charlotte, North Carolina office or remote work. This role offers the chance to manage your own caseload while working alongside experienced attorneys in a supportive environment.

Duties

  • Represent clients in court hearings and trials.
  • Conduct depositions and defend depositions.
  • Negotiate settlements and communicate with clients.
  • Collaborate with a team of paralegals and support staff.

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina and South Carolina.
  • 2-5 years of experience managing a large caseload preferred.
  • Some experience in litigation preferred but not required.
  • Ability to travel frequently to courts across NC and SC.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar licensure in North Carolina and South Carolina.

Skills

  • Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
