Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Mergers & Acquisitions Associate in Palo Alto, CA. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in public and private company mergers and acquisitions and other strategic transactions. Duties

• Draft definitive transaction agreements.
• Manage aspects of strategic transactions, including due diligence and disclosure letters.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts.
• Assist in managing client relationships.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant M&A experience.
• Experience as an integral associate on M&A transactions.
• Superior academic credentials and/or law firm experience.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
