Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced, detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join their team in Irvine, CA. The successful candidate will work closely with trial attorneys, providing support before, during, and after trials. This role offers an opportunity to develop litigation skills and become a well-rounded litigator.

Duties

• Provide legal support to clients and assist trial attorneys.
• Maintain client relationships.
• Prepare demands and manage cases pre-suit.
• Draft legal reports and documents.
• Interact with expert witnesses, including drafting reports and affidavits.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
• Collaborate with litigation paralegals and case managers.

Requirements

• Law degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the CA State Bar Association.
• 1+ years of litigation experience, personal injury preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in personal injury law.
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership with the CA State Bar Association.
