Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Corporate and Private Equity Associate to join its team in Pittsburgh. The successful candidate will support a dynamic practice focused on private equity transactions, including leveraged buy-outs and venture capital fund formations.

Duties

• Assist in the execution of private equity transactions.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues on complex legal matters.
• Draft and review legal documents related to acquisitions.
• Provide strategic advice to emerging managers and general partners.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience in acquisitions for private equity funds.
• Strong academic record and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage client relationships.
• Texas bar admission required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
