Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate for its Complex Commercial Litigation Practice in Costa Mesa, CA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in MDL and/or consumer class action litigation. This role involves working with a team of seasoned litigators to handle high-stakes disputes across various industries.

Duties

• Assist in managing complex litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Participate in discovery, including depositions and document review.
• Collaborate with trial teams to develop case strategies.
• Communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in MDL and/or consumer class action litigation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the State Bar of California.
