A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney with 5-10 years of matrimonial and family law experience to join its expanding Matrimonial Department in White Plains, NY. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Duties

• Draft pleadings, motions, depositions, and briefs.
• Appear in New York courts.
• Manage cases through all stages of litigation.
• Develop and execute cost-effective litigation strategies.
• Organize and track case status, manage calendars, and handle client matters.
• Represent clients in divorce, custody, child support, and related matters.

Requirements

• Knowledge of New York Supreme Court and Family Court procedures.
• Experience in a family/divorce law clinic or relevant internship/clerkship.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar (required).
