The bonus system is also seen as a nice incentive. The culture at Hancock, Daniel & Johnson, P.C. is seen as great overall, with good energy and a focus on treating employees and clients well. Pros: Significant independence, interesting and complex projects, very collegial and respectful atmosphere.
Cons: Compensation seems low compared to similarly situated firms (I am trying to get a better grasp on what my market rate might be given my somewhat unique career trajectory of spending time in-house before joining a law firm).

There was a lot of favoritism in the office, which led to a lot of gossip and resentment among employees.
