What are the Differences Between Large, Small and Medium-Size Law Firms
[00:00:00] People should work in the largest law firm they can.
The reason is because you're going to get exposure to work. You'll get exposure to all sorts of different types of people that are likely to help grow your career.
You'll get exposure to all sorts of different types of matters. Training very highly paid attorneys, clients are paying a lot of money for and you'll learn to go in depth with things as you get older.
If it becomes increasingly clear that you may or may not make partner and you don't want to stick with that, then I recommend, in-house. Individual.
If you go to a medium-sized law firm, you're going to get a different experience in a small one. Typically people who go to smaller to medium sized law firms value the collegiality or to bring in smaller clients that they might not be able to in a large law firm.
But that's again up to you and depending on the size market you're in typically you're going to have more opportunities. The larger the law firm to bring in. And the smaller the law firm, more opportunities to bring in.
Corporations are good, but corporations aren't always stable. It's up to you now.
I've [00:01:00] written articles about the advantages of working with boutique law firms of working in large law firm. And I would recommend reviewing those.
