Mid-Level Renewable Energy Transactions Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Renewable Energy Transactions Associate Attorney to join their team in Washington, DC. This role offers the opportunity to engage in a diverse range of renewable energy projects within a well-established national practice.

Duties

• Collaborate with attorneys in the Renewable Energy group.
• Engage in project development, commercial, financing, and transactional work.
• Negotiate, draft, and close complex commercial agreements.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in renewable or conventional energy transactions, or related fields.
• Strong writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Licensed to practice in or eligible for admission in the District of Columbia.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the bar in the District of Columbia or eligibility for admission without examination.

Skills

• Experience with tax credit matters, including ITCs or PTCs, is a plus.
• Proficiency in negotiating and drafting legal documents.
