Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Data, Privacy, and Cybersecurity Associate in Washington, D.C. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team addressing complex regulatory issues for global clients.

Duties

  • Represent clients in investigations by the FTC and state Attorneys General.
  • Advise on data collection, usage, and compliance with privacy laws.
  • Develop responses to security breaches.
  • Create and audit privacy and cybersecurity policies.
  • Implement global compliance programs.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with technology industries or government regulation preferred.
  • Familiarity with FTC policy and enforcement is desirable.
  • Superior academic credentials required.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • CIPP certification is a plus.
