Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Tax Attorney in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in federal tax, income tax, and transactional matters. Duties

  • Manage assigned cases from start to finish, developing strategies for successful outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and provide informed advice.
  • Draft, review, and finalize legal documents with precision.
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients regarding case progress.
  • Represent clients effectively in negotiations to achieve favorable resolutions.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and colleagues across practice areas.
  • Ensure compliance with professional conduct standards and firm policies.
  • Assist in financial management of cases, including setting retainers and managing payments.
  • Stay current with legal developments and complete required Continuing Legal Education (CLE).

 

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (or eligibility to waive in).
  • 3-5 years of experience in federal tax, income tax, and transactional matters.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

 

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (or eligibility to waive in).
