A law firm seeks a Senior Associate or Counsel with public company experience to join their Executive Compensation Practice in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in executive compensation and employee benefits matters, including public company executive compensation disclosures and employee benefits aspects of M&A and private equity transactions.

Duties

  • Handle executive compensation disclosures for public companies.
  • Manage employee benefits aspects of M&A and private equity transactions.
  • Oversee tax-qualified and nonqualified retirement plans.
  • Develop executive employment and severance arrangements.
  • Design equity and non-equity incentive plans.

Requirements

  • Minimum of six years of experience in executive compensation and employee benefits.
  • Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Significant client contact and responsibility for handling matters.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the state of Washington preferred.
