A law firm seeks a full-time Estate Planning and Elder Law Attorney in Falmouth, ME. The firm, with over 30 years of specialized practice, is looking for an attorney to provide expert and compassionate assistance to clients and their families. The role involves working directly with clients and senior attorneys on estate planning, special needs planning, trusts, probate, guardianships, asset preservation, and Medicaid applications.

Duties

• Handle all aspects of client files in estate planning and elder law.
• Assist with special needs planning and trust management.
• Manage probate and guardianship/conservatorship cases.
• Guide clients through asset preservation and Medicaid applications.

Requirements

• Three to five years of experience in Estate Planning, Probate, or Elder Law preferred.
• Ability to empathize and provide guidance in high-crisis situations.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the state of Maine.
